World-renowned software legend to visit South Africa

October 2007

Dariel Solutions, in collaboration with one of the thought leaders and architects behind the creation of Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) in .NET 3.0, and recognised by Microsoft as a software legend, Juval Löwy, will be hosting a prestigious, first of its kind, Master Class in South Africa in November later this year.

As a software architect and the principal of IDesign, specialising in .NET architecture consulting and advanced .NET 3.0 training, Löwy has been part of the strategic design efforts for WCF from the beginning and as such, offers profound insight on the technology and its applications. As the world's most intensive and most comprehensive WCF training class, the Master Class will run over a 5-day period and is specifically designed for .NET technologists who wish to gain a deeper understanding of this key technology. The objective of the class however, is not to create WCF experts, but rather superior software engineers.
"There is simply no substitute for being trained by the world's leading expert in the subject," said Malcolm Rabson, managing director of Dariel Solutions. "Juval Löwy offers profound insight into .NET technology and its applications, which allows for the capitalisation of emerging opportunities and the provision of the most reliable, flexible and viable solution."
In addition to the frontal presentations, the Master Class will take a hands-on training approach, through the use of lab exercises, numerous conceptual demos and original tools and utilities. The material presented is known to go well beyond anything that can be found using conventional training sources and will include Löwy's original techniques and breakthroughs. The class will not only be useful in training, but also in furthering development, as it is set to serve as a starting point for new projects and as a rich reference and samples resource.
The Master Class course will run from 26-30 November and will be hosted at the Wanderers in Johannesburg. To secure your seat or to merely gain more information on this esteemed course*, please contact 0860 327 435 or e-mail wcf@dariel.co.za
In addition to the 5-day Master Class, Löwy will be presenting a 2-hour seminar on 29 November at the Microsoft offices in Bryanston from 18h00-20h00. This seminar is open to the public and will focus on the key system features of WCF - beyond the endpoints - enabling educated decisions. Please e-mail wcf@dariel.co.za or contact 0860 327 435 to book your seat.
"We are very excited to host such an event and believe that by working alongside industry greats, we are certainly able to continue to build upon an already vibrate South African software development market," concludes Rabson.
