Microsoft has streamlined and upgraded its support processes for its top Dynamics customers, allowing its enterprise clients to merge their support under a single account. This includes a technical account manager who provides a single point of contact.
Microsoft's Dynamics line includes multiple applications packages in the areas of financial, customer relationship and supply chain management.
The company says its newly-announced Microsoft Services Premier Support is now one of the most complete vendor services offerings available in the industry, providing support across the entire Microsoft environment - from databases and servers to business applications.
Through this integration, Microsoft Dynamics customers will now have access to proactive services, reactive support assistance and support account management, including a single process for engagement, access to expertise on infrastructure and Microsoft Dynamics products and rapid on-site support.
The move means that big customers who are trying to sort out a problem that may cross boundaries between their infrastructure - such as Windows Server or SQL Server - and a business application such as the Dynamics CRM customer relationship management software, now can get support in a single place.
"This is a logical step for Microsoft to take as Microsoft Dynamics products become more widely accepted in the enterprise market," said Jumana Helal, business group executive for the Dynamics business at Microsoft SA. "Customers want to limit the number of required contracts, minimise points of contact and generally simplify processes. Microsoft is responding to these needs."
Microsoft Premier Support with Microsoft Dynamics Services is available immediately to enterprise segment customers with Microsoft Dynamics enterprise resource planning (ERP) and Microsoft Dynamics CRM solutions.
